Go Deeper: Bible Challenge
Recently, I’ve been reflecting on the questions I've received from friends about where to start in the Bible. Many suggest beginning with the Gospels because they provide insight into the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus—our foundation. Understanding these events is crucial because we are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. However, I also considered some of the books that convicted me when I was living a lukewarm Christian life. This reflection inspired this challenge.
My prayer is that as you begin this challenge, the Lord will convict, correct, encourage, and transform you from the inside out as you renew your mind through His Word. After all, how can we expect to avoid conforming to this world if we aren’t actively renewing our minds? Without this renewal, we tend to view and think from a worldly perspective rather than a heavenly one.
So, how do we renew our minds? Through the Word of God.
The Challenge: For the next 30 days, instead of turning to social media (or whatever your usual distraction may be) at the start of your day, turn to the Word of God.
Reading Plan:
Romans
Galatians
1-3 John
End with Jude
Make this time a priority. Allow the scriptures to shape your thoughts and perspectives, guiding you toward a more profound understanding of Christ and His teachings.
