Proverbs: Rooted In The Word

Back in 2020, the Lord prompted me to begin writing a study. At the time, I wasn't sure of the purpose or the end goal. Like many uncertain things in my life, I set it aside. Fear, lack of understanding, and perhaps a lack of faith in my own potential to be used by God played a role in my hesitation. I wasn't yet in a place where I fully believed that God could use me in areas beyond my comfort zone or natural abilities.

However, one thing is certain about God: as mentioned in Philippians 1:6, "He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion." The works and plans He initiates in us and through us will be completed, in Jesus' name.

Looking back, I shouldn't have been surprised that toward the end of 2022, the Lord began to remind me of what I had started. Early in 2023, I felt a renewed and intense call to finish the assignment. I wish I could say I responded immediately and with perfect obedience, but as Priscilla Shirer wisely noted, "delayed obedience is disobedience." Even in my moments of hesitation, God's faithfulness remained unwavering. By His grace, I can now say that on June 16th, 2023, He completed what He had begun.

I invite you to dive deeper into God’s word and explore this study by visiting my resources page and downloading it for free. May His wisdom serve as a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, as promised in Psalm 119:105.
